SandenVendo Publishes its 2024 Sustainability Report: Integrated Vision Driven by Measurable Actions
SandenVendo Europe SpA.is pleased to announce the publication of its 2024 Sustainability Report, which confirms a solid and measurable improvement in environmental performance and a clear alignment with its long-term climate objectives.
The report outlines our ongoing commitments across Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) dimensions, structured in accordance with international standards and stakeholder expectations.
Developed in line with the Volunteering Sustainability Reporting Standard for Non-Listed SMEs (VSME) framework and supported by the implementation of a dedicated digital reporting tool, this year’s report adopts a materiality-based approach and covers performance data for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025.
Key environmental achievements in 2024 include:
- Carbon neutrality- Scope 1 and 2 emissions, achieved through energy-efficiency initiatives, 100% renewable electricity sourcing, and certified CO2 offsetting projects
- 100% renewable electricity across operations, significantly reducing operational carbon footprint
- Average 40% reduction in electricity consumption per machine, driven by the introduction of natural refrigerant R290 and intelligent energy-saving technologies
- All machines produced in FY2024 are classified in higher energy-efficiency classes, reinforcing our ecodesign strategy in mind
- A new water recovery and reuse system was implemented in the painting department, reducing freshwater withdrawal and increasing recycled water usage.
